Payouts:

Some channels, like AirBnB, TripAdvisor, or Only-Apartments, are the 'merchant-on-record' (channel that is liable by the financial institution that processes the end consumer's credit and debit card payments). With these channels, we will issue you a payout, after the funds have been issued by that channel, and successfully cleared in our financial institution. PayPal is the payment processor that will allow you to receive payments from Lodgable. For other channels, like Booking.com, you must charge the guest yourself, using your Stripe account. Stripe will then deposit the funds, into the bank account that you've designated within Stripe.

Payout periods:

  • Funds are typically released to Lodgable 1 to 2 business days after your guest checks in

  • If your guest is staying for 28 or more nights, payouts for that reservation are released monthly.

Processing time: 

Once the funds settle, Lodgable will issue you a payout within 0 to 2 business days, typically a few days after checks out.

  • PayPal information will be sent to your email on file, unless you've specified a PayPal account. The payment should show-up in your PayPal account relatively quick, usually within 3-4 hours after Lodgable issues you a payment. The ACH/Direct-Deposit processing can take anywhere from 1 to 5 business days depending on your financial institution. Questions regarding PayPal's payment processing can be found here.

  • Checks would only be used if electronics funds transfer (ETF) was inoperable. They are sent using USPS standard postal service and could take several days to reach your destination, depending on your location.  

Weekend or holiday delays

Many banking systems don't process transactions on weekends or holidays. If your payout from Airbnb is completed between Friday and Sunday, it might not be processed until the next week.

PayPal transaction fee:

  • A charge of 25 cents will be taken out of payouts for each transaction to cover PayPal's transaction fee. 

  1. Login to your Lodgable account 

  2. Select the User Icon (top right in your Lodgable account)

3. Select 'Account Settings' > 'Payout Method'
 

4. Select 'Payout Method'

5. Select "Add Payout Method"

6. Add the PayPal details. Specify the account holders name, and the PayPal email address.
