Channel cancellation policies vs. your Lodgable property

When integrating with some booking channels, they require that all properties inherit a sitewide cancellation policy. In general, a strict policy is put in place to protect both your earnings and the channel's earnings. This helps discourage guests from canceling your reservation if they find an alternative accommodation. 

The cancellation policies created in Lodgable apply to the bookings made in the custom sites located at site.lodgable.me. We'll attempt to apply them to other sites but most channels don't use the custom cancellation policies. Airbnb and VRBO/Homeaway have their own settings if you have a direct connection with them. Other channels will have a sitewide cancellation policy.
